About Dr Sacks

Dr Peta Sacks is an Australian otolaryngologist (ENT surgeon) with subspecialty expertise in rhinology (nose and sinus disorders) and anterior skull base surgery. She holds a PhD in Surgery; her doctoral work focused on actionable mutations and prognostic biomarkers in sinonasal epithelial malignancies.

She completed advanced fellowship training in rhinology at St Vincent’s and Macquarie University Hospitals, Sydney, and at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, under Professor Claire Hopkins. She has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on chronic rhinosinusitis, sinonasal malignancy, radiomics of the paranasal sinuses and biomarkers, and sits on the editorial board of the Australian Journal of Otolaryngology.

Dr Sacks provides surgical care at St Vincent’s Hospitals, Macquarie University Hospital and St George Private Hospital.
