About Dr Shein
Dr Greg Shein is an adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat surgeon. He has a particular interest in disorders of the ear and hearing, having undertaken subspecialty fellowship training in otology and auditory implants at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, one of the largest hearing implant programmes in the United Kingdom.
He manages the full range of ear disease in children and adults — hearing loss, chronic ear infections, perforated ear drums, cholesteatoma and otosclerosis — and surgical correction of hearing loss including cochlear implantation and bone conduction implants. He is equally comfortable with general adult and paediatric ENT, including tonsils and adenoids, glue ear and nose and sinus conditions.
Dr Shein consults at Kogarah every week and works alongside the audiologists of Precision Hearing in the same suite, so hearing assessment and treatment planning can be coordinated in one visit. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
